On 10 September, thirteen of the super-fit Jackalberry riders cycled 280km in one day to Machadodorp. They raised funds for the school to fence the sports field and erect soccer/netball goalposts.
The riders left the school at 4 am in the morning and poured out their energy for the next 12 hours.
